Product description
The Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens (Sony E) is a premium full-frame telephoto prime designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It is one of Sigma's strongest portrait and subject-isolation lenses, combining the flattering compression of 135mm with a very bright f/1.8 aperture.
Its 135mm focal length is particularly suited to portraits, headshots, fashion, weddings, stage performances, and outdoor subject isolation. The f/1.8 aperture creates extremely strong background separation and beautiful bokeh while also providing excellent low-light capability.
It uses Sigma's Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) autofocus system and features a 9-blade rounded diaphragm. The lens has an 87.5cm minimum focusing distance and approximately 0.20× maximum magnification. Its optical construction consists of 13 elements in 10 groups, including two SLD elements and two aspherical elements.
It accepts 82mm filters and weighs approximately 1,130g, making it a substantial lens, although noticeably lighter than the 105mm f/1.4 Art.
