The camera uses a 5MP CMOS sensor, with images available at up to 12MP through interpolation, and records Full HD 1080p video. Its 60° field of view provides a broad coverage area for monitoring wildlife and outdoor activity.
For nighttime monitoring, the Secacam 7 uses 60 invisible 940nm infrared LEDs, allowing it to capture footage in complete darkness without the visible flash disturbing animals. Its trigger response is approximately 0.35–0.45 seconds, helping capture fast-moving subjects.
